Rooted Through Grief

Where Grief is honored, Community is medicine, and Healing is collective.

Have you been carrying your grief quietly?

Now it’s time to be held.

If you’ve lost someone you care about- and feel changed by that loss, overwhelmed by the weight of it, or unsure how to move forward without rushing your healing-
this space is for you.

Rooted Through Grief is an 8-week community support circle for people navigating the loss of a loved one, including grief for someone who is gone or slowly slipping away or a pet. Together, we create space to honor your grief, process what has been carried in silence, and reconnect with yourself through shared reflection, grounding practices, spiritual support, and collective care.

This is not about fixing or moving on.
It’s about not grieving alone—and allowing yourself to be seen, supported, and gently transformed.

Life has changed…but you’re still trying to catch up to that truth

You’re not broken, you’re grieving.

Let’s honor that together.

  • This group is for adults who are moving through the weight of loss in its many forms.

You may be grieving the death of a loved one, parental estrangement, navigating separation or divorce, facing immigration-related displacement, adjusting after foster care, living with a chronic or terminal illness, or processing a major life change that’s left you feeling disconnected.

If you’re struggling to feel like yourself, make sense of your emotions, or find steady ground again, this space is here to support your healing. Through reflection, ritual, and connection, you’ll be guided with care.

  • This is an 8-week healing group that meets every Saturday, beginning April 8 and closing in ceremony on May 27.

Sessions will primarily be held on Zoom, with two in-person gatherings near the Inwood location in Upper Manhattan. You'll receive all dates and details after registration.

Come as you are, from wherever you are. This space is both virtual and rooted in real connection.

  • Over the course of 8 weeks, gather in a sacred rhythm of:

    • 6 virtual healing circles

    • 1 in-person community gathering

    • 1 in-person closing grief ceremony

Each session blends grounding practices, emotional processing, somatic tools, and spiritual reflection to help you move through grief, not around it.

You’ll learn how to regulate intense emotions, reconnect with your body, and reflect on who you are becoming in the wake of loss. Through ritual, community, and self-inquiry, you’ll be guided in honoring your grief while making space for healing and transformation.

This group is both a supportive container and a spiritual passage. You’ll leave with tools for your journey, a deeper sense of meaning, and a renewed connection to yourself and what you’ve lost.

  • Because grief deserves more than silence. It deserves care, connection, and a place to be held.

This group is for those who are tired of pretending they’re okay. For those who feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. For those carrying unspoken pain or trying to make sense of life after loss.

You don’t have to grieve in isolation. In this space, you’ll be witnessed without judgment, supported by others who understand, and guided by experienced facilitators who blend mental health care with spiritual wisdom.

You’ll learn how to ground yourself when the waves feel too strong, how to express what’s been unspoken, and how to reconnect with the parts of you grief may have silenced. You’ll be invited to honor what was lost, while gently reimagining what’s possible.

This group isn’t about fixing you. It’s about remembering that you were never broken.

If your soul is craving space to feel, reflect, and begin again — this is for you.
